Deborah Ann Woodard

woodard sebQUEENSBURY-Deborah Ann Woodard, 62, of Queensbury, passed away on Thursday Jan. 4, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on Oct. 8, 1955 in Harli Texas, she was the daughter of Clarence T. Woodard of Fort Edward and Wanda Rae Hungerford of Queensbury.

Deborah Ann was very fond of plants, birds and animals. She was an artistic person and enjoyed writing poetry in her free time.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son Anthony D. Burt of Lake George, her two grandsons Nathan Burt and Kyle Burt, one great grandson Kaysen Burt and her siblings William Woodard and his wife Cindy of Whitehall, Edsole T. Woodard and his wife Olga of Halfmoon, Cheryl L. Drew of Whitehall, Rodney Woodard and his wife Stephanie of Queensbury, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday Jan. 9, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Carlton Funeral Home, Inc. at 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan 10, 2018, at Pine view Cemetery in the town of Queensbury.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 139 S. Lake Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

    Debbie was a kind, friendly, down-to earth person. She was fun and upbeat. I never heard her have a bad word to say about anyone. We had a lot of fun, and she will live in the childhood memories of all who lived in this little village. RIP, Debbie.
