Robert “Bob” Borngesser

Borngesser, PhotoGLENS FALLS – Robert “Bob” Borngesser, 67, of Glens Falls, passed away on May 31, 2017, at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness.

Born on November 23, 1949 in Union City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Raymond and Doris Louise (Boneni) Borngesser.

Bob graduated from Union Hill High School in New Jersey and soon after enlisted in the US Army.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, who served as a medic.   For his brave actions, Bob received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

On September 21, 1986, he married Lynn Maturo at Lady of Fatima Church in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Bob was Commander of the American Legion and also a member of the VFW, both on Cooper Street in Glens Falls.

Bob enjoyed telling jokes and playing computer games. He always tried to make the best out of a bad situation. Bob was quoted as saying “you have to have a sense of humor to keep you going.”   He always hid his pain to those around him.   Bob had a sensitive side, especially when reading greeting cards.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, David Borngesser and his sister, Ruth Hacker.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lynn Borngesser of Glens Falls; his two daughters, Jillian Borngesser and Kaitlin Borngesser; three grandchildren, Isaiah, Hector and Joseph; his siblings, Charles Borngesser, Doris Sinclair, Ellie Lopez, Wayne Borngesser, Amy Borngesser, Paul Borngesser, Raymond Borngesser, Ronald Borngesser, Kenny Borngesser and Jackie Semeidi; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 11a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Gerald B. H.  Solomon – Saratoga National Cemetery in Stillwater.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Legion Post 233 of Glens Falls, Cooper Street, Glens Falls, NY  12801 or to any local VFW of your choice.

Andrea Lynne Beahan

Andrea BeahanHUDSON FALLS – Andrea Lynne Beahan, 56, of Deer Run Drive, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Born on March 18, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Cleta (Moran) Beahan.

After her graduation from Brockport High School, she continued her education at SUNY Brockport, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.

She worked as a social worker in Rochester, finding jobs for people with developmental disabilities.  Working with the disabled gave Andrea a strong purpose in life.  If was her gift back to society.  While in Ithaca, Andrea changed profession to become a car salesperson and was very successful.  After moving to this area, she worked in car sales for a while and then went back to her love of helping the downtrodden.  She began working for Shelters of Saratoga, helping people get back on their feet and she started The Outreach and Drop in Center in Saratoga Springs.  Her passion was helping the homeless and victims of society.

Andrea was known as “Mommy Bubba” to her two adopted sons, Gonzalo Scott Beahan-Yates and Josiah David Beahan-Yates.  The boys where her heroes and the center of her world.

Andrea was funny and loved to make people laugh.  She had a big heart and was always a giver to her family, friends and clients.   When Andrea spoke, she made you feel as though you were the most important person in the world.  She will be remembered for being a loving mother, devoted friend and sister and will be greatly missed by those that she touched.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Scott Francis Beahan and her niece, Leah Higgins Beahan.

She is survived by her sons, Gonzalo and Josiah Beahan-Yates; her partner, Marie Chase; her sister, Jo Ellen Schwallie and her husband, Scott; her brother, Daniel Beahan and his fiancé, Loni Boundy; her nieces, Shiela Spoth and her husband, Eric, Allyson Wise and her husband, Scott and her nephew, Aeron Schwallie and his fiancée, Kelly Teufel; her good friend and mother of her children, Heather Yates; and several other family members.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from to 10 to 11 a.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main in Hudson Falls.

Memorial Services will follow the calling hour on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Jesse I. Latterell, Jr

Latterell, jesseFort Edward – Jesse I. Latterell, Jr., age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1st, 2017. He was in the comfort of his own home in Fort Edward, NY, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on February 10th, 1932 to Mary and Jesse I Latterell Sr.

Jesse spent many years working for Yank Waste as a mechanic during the early portion of his life, as well as many years doing what he loved, driving tractor trailer for his own personnel business, Latterell Trucking Inc. He greatly enjoyed the smaller things in life, such as fishing, washing his truck and just being outside but most of all camping, which he did for several years with his wife, children and then grandchildren, at Port Henry Campground.

Jesse was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Merile, Ward, and Hubert Latterell, and his sisters Betty Latterell-Burkhardt, and Priscilla Latterell. He was also predeceased by his two sons, Lee and Mark Latterell.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sylvia Latterell; his sisters Mary Holden, Barbara Edwards and Patricia Burns; his children Al (Suzanne) Latterell, Chris Latterell, and Sheri Johnson; his Grandchildren Dan Latterell, Timothy Latterell, Scott (Joelle) Latterell, Gina (Paul) Lanfear, Ashlie (Matt) Johnson, Meagan (Shawn) Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Kamara (Matt) Latterell, Alara (Kristian) Latterell, Danielle (Matt) Latterell, and Tyler Latterell; Great-Grandchildren Haylee Stevens, Rowen Brayman, Daniel Latterell, Gage Latterell, Jazzmin Lanfear, Rayonna Lanfear, Olivia Megna, Bradley Latterell, and Layla Latterell; As well as many nieces and nephews who he greatly adored.

Francine M. Ellis

Elles, FrancineGLENS FALLS – Francine M. Ellis, 59, of Elizabeth St., passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her home.

Born on July 30, 1957, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Philomena (Salustra) Merrill.

Francine was a graduate of Schuylerville High School.

Throughout her life, Francine worked for Indian River Nursing home, Wesley Nursing home and Interm Health Care.

She cherished her dog pumpkin.  Francine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, doing puzzles, watching Law and Order, the ocean and when she could, gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Anderson and her second husband, Randy Ellis, and her siblings, Margret Merrill, Patricia Purdy and Lindon Merrill.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Gilles and her husband, Neil of Queensbury, Lisa Springer and her husband, Justin of Fort Edward and Jammie Durkee and her husband Justin of Argyle; her grandchildren, Aleisha, Woodbeck, Ryan Woodbeck, Emily Gilles and Samuel Gilles, Olivia Anderson, Jacob Durkee, Riley Springer, Benjamin Springer and Matthew Springer; her step children, Cameron Ellis and Travis Ellis;  and her siblings, Ardelle McGrane, Norma Fox, Deborah Carter, Melissa Merrill, Bonnie Lee Burnette, Jackie Germain and Angela Sweet.

Friends may call on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls.

Burial will be with her second husband, Randy Ellis at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Stillwater at the convenience of the family.
